Hiring a wedding planner will be one of the best gifts that you give yourself. A planner allows you to enjoy the engagement chapter of your wedding journey instead of stressing about the details. And on wedding day, I do the heavy lifting while you are able to be present for each and every moment.
FAQs
The right one can! A seasoned, well established planner has taken the time to develop relationships with vendors and venues to ensure that their couples receive the best value.
Every type - no cookie cutter wedding’s found here. From intimate at home celebrations to expansive multi-day affairs, it is my pleasure to assist you in creating your day, your way.
While many venues include a “planner” as part of their services, the focus of a venue coordinator is to plan and execute the details that the venue is providing. By hiring a wedding planner, you have an advocate focusing solely on you, your hired vendors and the entire wedding as a whole.
By sharing all of the details that are important to you with me, I am able to become laser focused on creating the perfect day that is a reflection of who you are as a couple.
A certified planner, especially a Master Certified (who knew there was such a thing!) has taken the time to continue their education, develop relationships with other wedding vendors and remain in tune with today’s wedding technology and trends while embracing traditions. A certified wedding planner has a network of thousands of other certified professionals at their fingertips to assist with all things wedding.
Why do I need a wedding planner?
Can a wedding planner really save us money?
What types of weddings do you plan?
My venue already has an onsite coordinator, how are you different than what they do?
How do I ensure that our wedding is exactly how we want it?
Why is it important that I hire a CERTIFIED planner?
First thing – Starbucks 😉. I check on you both early in the morning to see if you need anything before I make my way to the venue. Once I arrive at the venue, I will stop by to say a quick hello and then head to the event spaces to ensure that they are set up according to our diagrams, begin placing your personal items, receive vendors as they arrive and answer any questions that they may have. As we get closer to start time, I will begin organizing the family members and wedding party for the processional and then the ceremony takes place. Yay – you are married and now the fun begins! While you are taking photos, I will ensure that the cocktail hour is running smoothly and the reception space is completely ready. Once cocktail hour is over, I will work closely with your vendors to facilitate all of the special moments that we have planned while you are enjoying a fabulous meal, signature cocktails and showing off your dance moves. At the end of the evening once you have had your Grand Departure or Irish Goodbye, I ensure that all of your personal items have been gathered and sent with your previously assigned person. After a quick reflection of how wonderful your wedding was, I make my way home.
What does a wedding planner do on the day of the wedding?
I do accept credit cards and do not pass along any processing fees. Look at that – helping with your spending plan already!
Do you take credit cards?
It is important that you remember the second “bee” in irresisTIBBLE or we won’t be able to connect. What better reminder than my two friends--Bee-yoncé and J-Bee!
What is with all the bee references?!?
